Panthers thrash tigers

The Panthers travelled to Langlands Park last Saturday to do battle with the Easts Tigers. The Colts match saw the young Panthers side outclased by a strong Tigers outfit 48 points to 4. The game was a steep learning curve for our young colts side who made too many errors and looked very much a junior football team. In stark contrast the FOGS A Grade Panthers put a polished performace on the park to thrash the highly fancied Tigers 36 Nil. Young Panther Liam Tyson picked up a 16 point haul as the Panthers blew the Tigers off the park in the second half after a controlled first stanza. Many of the Panthers try's were reminicent of the great sides of the 90's with the boys showing some real razzle dazzle.

The Panthers are back home at Frank Lind Oval this Saturday afternoon as they take on the Ipswich Jets. Lets get behind this young side who are looking to give the FOGS A Grade competition a real shake.
